Brandin has been asking for treatment at the one treatment center for men in the system and FFUP has also written the warden, the head of PREA and the DAI administrator asking for treatment and for Brandin to be transferred to another prison after treatment . FFUP received a perfunctory letter from the PREA head saying the staff at CCI is taking care of Brandin's needs. He has seen a therapist once for 30 minutes and given some handout sheets. Brandin is afraid he will commit suicide he is so scared and traumatized, he cannot feel safe. FFUP has written PREA Warden and DAI refuting their statement that his needs are taken care of.
FFUP has offered to help him learn the law and his rights, that this is an opportunity to gain strength through learning-
We are also working on a short campaign with petition and phone calls/email. I have written Brandin asking for permission for this.

Action by FFUP-Sent legal form to Ellis and this treatise to
innocence litigator Josh Howard. Asked Ellis to send copy of legal form to josh
for sure and to me if he wants to spend the stamp.
